Becker/Stolp Multiage class had a very busy snack time today. While enjoying some fruit they began to work on posters for the State Wrestlers that will be stopping by GBR later today. We can't wait to cheer on the Kernel Wrestlers!!




KGL is getting ready to cheer on the State Wrestlers!! This morning they worked together to make some amazing posters to display when the Wrestlers come to GBR for a fun-filled send-off before they head to state! Way to go Kernel Wrestlers!!





Mrs. Clement's class has been doing lots of research on animals from Australia. From koalas to dingoes, and many more animals, these first graders have been learning about all the different animals they may discover in the Outback. We can't wait to see how their research projects turn out!




Mrs. Vogl's first-grade class enjoyed a fun game of Double Bubbles this afternoon! They have been working hard on learning their fast facts for doubles (2 + 2; 8 + 8). They enjoyed doubling up and spinning to do some quick math and practice their fast facts. What a fun way to learn and work on those doubles




Good morning from Mrs. Dodd's Begindergarten class! This morning BK was working on their phonemic awareness and rhyming words. From Pig & Wig to Chocolate & Moon, these BK students gave a thumbs up to the rhyme words. This week they are also learning Everything about the Excellent letter E! We cannot wait to hear about all the Exciting things they learn about E!

PLC multiage classroom had a very busy afternoon! Some students enjoyed music class working on their recorder with Miss Wehlander or practicing for their concert. Another group of PLC students were in PE playing tag! Students paired up and were 'safe' when they sat with a group, but the next student on the end had to get ready to run!! What a fun and busy afternoon!





Mrs. Budahl's second-grade class embraced being the bean in art today with Mrs. Geist! They explored creating art with different mediums, opting for coffee instead of paint. Each student created their own design, drawing inspiration from the world around them. Way to be a bean and create beautiful art!




Exciting day in Mr. Grotjohn's fifth-grade class! Our students embarked on a thrilling journey of conversions through word problems. Our "Scoot" activity had them racing around the room, solving problems and sharpening their math prowess. Way to go, mathematicians! Keep conquering those conversions

Today, we turned up the fun with a musical twist on a classic game. Picture this: students singing their hearts out while one brave soul sits in the middle, eyes closed tight. Then, Miss Wehlander, our secret keeper, slips a penny to a lucky participant. Can you guess who it is? With just three tries, the anticipation is palpable! What a harmonious way to sharpen our listening skills and spread some joy!




Our little artists in Mrs. Brua's first-grade class are spreading love and creativity this Valentine's Day! Today, we had a blast decorating adorable Valentine's Day bags, and cannot wait to begin filling them with heartfelt messages and sweet treats for our classmates. From glitter to stickers, every bag is bursting with love, joy, and kindness! Don't forget to bring your smiles tomorrow and spread kindness and cheer!






Becker/Stolp's multiage class is still working on their Genius Hour projects for their next Student Showcase. Today we took a look to check out how Amelya's greenhouse and squash are doing! We can't wait to see how much more they grow!



Mrs. Wilson's Third Grade class were little engineers and artists this morning at Makerspace! Makerspace is a great area for students to build, create, and explore a variety of materials while building on many different skills.




This afternoon, Miss Hart's Kindergartners got to enjoy the Library with Mrs. Gerlach! We love getting to spend time in the Library and hear some great stories. February is National Book Lovers Month, show your love for books and librarians and share your favorite book with someone!



Mrs. Fossum's Kindergarten class recited a Valentine's Day poem this morning. First, they read it as a poem, and then they sang it to the tune of Jack & Jill! What a fun way to start the day while getting ready to spread love and kindness with a sweet Valentine's poem!
