This morning, Mrs. Dodd's Begindergarten class had a wonderful start to their day with a book about animals at the zoo that had a dance party! 🎉 After finishing their book, they had their own dance party and pretended to be animals we see at the zoo. From lions 🦁 and tigers 🐯 to zebras 🦓 and rhinos 🦏, this class is full of laughter and joy! After their dance break, they took a moment to sing a song together. To round out their performance, these BK kids took a big bow and received a round of applause! Thanks for sharing your wonderful dance moves and helping to spread smiles this morning!

Take a look at some of the peep homes that were finished today in PLC!
Gather around, peeps! PLC is diving into a fun activity today centered around measurements. Working in small groups, our builders have been tasked with measuring their peeps (both bunny and chick) and utilizing these measurements to calculate the volume, area, and perimeter for their peeps' homes. Once the math is complete, it's time to bring those calculations to life by constructing the houses! We're eagerly anticipating the creative homes that PLC will build for their peeps!
Miss Hart's kindergartners took some time out of their morning to sneak into Mrs. Brua's class and wish her a happy birthday!! There were smiles all around! Happy Birthday Mrs. Brua, we hope you have a great day!
Mrs. Brua's class of first-graders are rolling with laughter as they write funny stories! Students rolled a die to collect different parts of their stories, such as the main character, setting, and problem. We love seeing the creative minds at work and can't wait to read their stories!
Mrs. Budahl's second-grade class is egg-citedly diving into some egg-cellent creative writing adventures! Using their math skills and creative minds, each student has decorated an egg with a unique pattern they designed themselves. Then, they've spun some silly stories around their eggs! We're eagerly awaiting to see the stunning eggs and read the hilarious tales these young authors have crafted. We look forward to the egg-ceptional creativity!

Check out what's going on Wednesday March 27!
Mr. Grotjohn's fifth-grade students had a discussion over some chapters they read in their book 'George's Secret Key to the Universe.' Students participated in a peer-led discussion that checked for comprehension after reading a few chapters in class. We love the engagement and student involvement as these fifth-graders work on so many skills through their discussions!
Mrs. Zirpel's class of fourth-graders took advantage of the freshly fallen snow to engage in a fun activity related to the book they just finished, 'Night Visitors.' While reading about the underground railroad, they also discovered the concept of snow ice cream. As a bonus for finishing the book, Mrs. Zirpel decided the best way to celebrate was by making their own snow ice cream! Sounds delicious!
