The SOUPer Bowl Drive is over! And, wow, did the Lions knock it out of the park!
We're still collecting SOUP cans for our SOUPer Bowl SOUP drive THIS WEEK ONLY. The soup will be donated to the Mitchell Food Pantry.
Let's Go Kernels!!!! Good luck to the Mitchell Kernel Gymnastics Team as they head to State! We were so excited to send you off today and can't wait to see your results. Thank you for stopping to see us and showing off your handstand skills! We're so proud of you and know you will represent Mitchell well!!!!

The Longfellow student council is SOUPer excited to annouce a SOUPer big announcement. During SOUPer Bowl Week (Feb 5-9), we will be collecting cans of SOUP. We have a set a SOUPer big goal of 500 cans of SOUP so LET'S GO LIONS!!!

Reminder that tomorrow, February 1st, is Parent/Teacher conferences! If you signed up to bring food for the teachers, please drop it off at the office any time tomrrow. We are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow and showing you all of the wonderful things your lions are learning!

Would you like to surprise your grandchild/Little Friend/neighbor kids? Purchase your Candy-grams THIS WEEK. You may order through your classroom teacher OR stop at the office to purchase a Candy-gram for that special Lion!

Hi Longfellow families! This year, the Student Council is selling candy grams for Valentine's Day. Candy grams are $2 each and will include Hersey's, Starbursts, Snickers, Skittles, or Reese's. If YOU wish to send an "anonymous" candy gram to your child for Valentine's Day, please fill out one of the candy gram slips that comes home with your student. If you wish to send your child a candy gram, you can send the slip back to school in an envelope with $2. Candy grams WILL NOT be accepted after February 5th due to ordering purposes. Thanks for supporting the Longfellow Student Council! Candygrams will be available for purchase at Conferences on Februrary 1st. If you need a candygram order form, please contact your child's teacher.
