Are you having a hard time finding a turkey to cook for Thanksgiving? Maybe you should have pizza!

The 2nd Annual Densgiving was a huge success today. Den A serves a delicious Thanksgiving meal for the den. The students made the placemats and helped donate food. The teachers prepared the food. And the office smelled like Grandma's house on Thanksgiving morning!

Today, our Mayor signed his proclamation, declaring Nov 18-22, 2024 as the annual observance of American Education Week. 5th grader, Jace Stemper, was chosen to represent Longfellow at the signing.

Are you laying out clothes for school?
Don't forget our dress-up days as we celebrate American Education Week! If you don't have anything that fits the theme, you can always wear something Longfellow or Kernels.

Why not try some older games with your kids?

REMINDER-Longfellow gear order forms are due to your teacher or the office by THIS FRIDAY, Nov 15th. Wear it proudly!!

REMINDER: Longfellow Spirit Wear order forms are due NEXT Friday the 15th. If you need an order form, the office has some available. Thank you!

Is that Damon or does he has a twin sister working at the school?

We got sooooo caught up in the fun of fall celebrations today, that we didn't get November lunch menus and activity calendars sent out. Ooooops! Sorry. We promise they will go out tomorrow. Lunch for Friday, November 1st will be
Meat lovers pizza; Cauliflower; Orange Slices; Rice Krispie Bar; Grab & Go Lunch

We hope our Lions have a fun & safe Halloween night, if you celebrate. But remember, candy is NOT a breakfast food. Don't let your sweet children fool you.

Reminder-We know that kids get sick or need to go to the dentist or eye doctor. That's part of life. However, those missed hours of school can be exempted if you bring a doctor's note. Either ask the doctor's office for one or have them fax it to us. It's as simple as that. Thank you so much for your help in cleaning up absences!

We are excited to see you at conferences tonight!
We are still collecting coats for all age ranges.
While you're here, sign up for a spot at the next Caring Closet Pop-up. The link will be available.
Stop at the Book Fair!
See Mrs. Eitemiller and learn about what she has planned to keep our Longfellow families active!

We promise not to scare you. Come see us tonight at conferences!
