Mrs. Vogl's first-grade class is working hard on writing dictation! Together, they built a sentence and broke down the syllables and sounds in the words. They identified high-frequency words and spelled the words as a class. They mastered the skills of organizing sentences and ensuring they included all the proper components. The students made sure their sentence began with a capital letter, ended with punctuation, and made sense. These first graders deserve a big round of applause for their wonderful sentence-making skills!

Mrs. Vogl's class of first-graders were lucky enough to have the wonderful DWU student, Miss Huber, in their classroom for the last couple of months. She was an amazing addition to the classroom and helped them with so much as they learned different subjects, in academics and beyond. We truly enjoyed having such a cheerful future teacher in our classroom and can't wait to see her succeed more. We will miss you in 1V, Miss Huber!
