
Good news!! With the warmer weather this week we get to go outside! That means students need to be sure to dress appropriately with coats, hats, gloves, and boots. Yay to outside recess!


Mrs. Grabenstein & Mrs. Leighton's Kindergarten class are having so much fun this morning learning the number 13! They got to move around as they learned the different ways 13 can be made and how it can look. What a fun way to learn!



Mrs. Dodd's Begindergarten class enjoyed some social play this morning!

Mr. Gubbrud received a great gift today from some of the GBR Energy Bus Passengers from Mrs. McManus's fourth-grade class. These 4M students are Loving Their Passengers! They created a box full of positive messages for Mr. Gubbrud to read when he is having a rough day. Way to go 4M!


PLC had a busy afternoon! Some of the students had music and practiced their recorders. The rest of the class had fun doing stations in PE.





Mr. Grotjohn's fifth-grade class had a fun language arts today! They got to write back to their pen pals at the high school. What a fun way to work on their language art skills!

Things to know for January 18, 2024!



We love snowfall when the snowflakes look like this! Miss Bormann & Mrs. Budahl's second-grade classrooms have been learning about snow. They made some fun snowflakes using coffee filters, we wish this was the type of snow forecasted!





Mrs. Budahl's second-grade class did a super fun spelling activity today! With the help of her student-teacher, Miss Hansen, the students completed a fun mystery spelling word activity.






Mrs. Zirpel's class is starting a fun project today! Using recycled plastic jugs they are beginning the planning stages of how to construct an igloo. Working in small groups they are exploring different ways that they can attach the jugs. Can't wait to see their plan and their igloo when it is all done!






Be sure to send your child in proper clothing and winter gear! Students go outside when the feel like temperature is 0°F or warmer. Dress warm!

Becker/Stolp's Multiage class students are beginning to work on their Genius Hour projects for their next Student Showcase! Students select their topic of interest and research it to then create a project that they will present. We are so excited to see everything that the students create!
