These KGL learners are reinforcing their ability to identify numbers while playing Bingo during Title Math with Mrs. Cassutt. They have worked really hard on their number sense skills and learning the order of these numbers. But, these learners didn't stop there! They also love the opportunities they get to learn about more or less. We cannot wait to see all that these students learn!

PLC scientists have been on an electrifying adventure exploring circuits, making hypotheses, and putting their theories to the test. 🤓💡 From creating connections to unraveling the mysteries of electricity, our students dove deep into the world of circuits. 🔍Research: Armed with curiosity, our students delved into the world of circuits, studying theories, and understanding the science behind the magic. 🤔Hypotheses: They formulated hypotheses, made predictions about how circuits work and what might happen when they experiment with different components. 🔬Testing Claims: The labs were buzzing with activity as our scientists put their hypotheses to the test, exploring the ins and outs of circuits with hands-on experiments. 🎉Confirmed or Busted: The moment of truth arrived as students unveiled their results, confirming or busting their hypotheses. The thrill of discovery was palpable. 🌐Sharing Findings: But the fun didn't stop there! Our budding scientists shared their exciting findings with fellow students, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing community.

Mrs. Fossum's kindergarten class had a fun way to practice their sight words today! They made rainbows and filled them with their sight words. Once they had all their sight words in the rainbow, they got to paint it for their leprechaun's pot of gold! We cannot wait to see the beautiful rainbows these kindergarteners create while they learn!

The second graders in Mrs. Budahl's class had a fun math activity today! Led by Miss Hanson, these second graders had to solve math problems in order to create their leprechauns. Depending on the math problem they solved would determine how they would make their leprechaun. We love getting to see such fun activities in class that mix multiple subjects to make learning fun and engaging for our students!

Mr. Grojohn's class of fifth graders had a special guest today for Junior Achievement. They discussed the important aspects of business and entrepreneurship. A big topic of discussion was the importance of practice and how you cannot achieve mastery of something without practice. Their Junior Achievement leader made real-world connections with the students, relating it to sports and hobbies that they enjoy. We can't wait to see all that the kids take away from this lesson!
