Longfellow Elementary Wows Parents, Family, and Community Members in “Off their Rockers”

       Longfellow 4th and 5th graders, led by their music teacher, Renea Schoenfelder, pulled off a musical production Thursday evening that was lauded by family and community members alike.  The show, Off their Rockers,” told the story  of Cozy Care Rest Home, with the 10-11 year-old students portraying a group of elderly residents reinvigorated by the exhilarating spirit of music.  Seven-hundred people applauded the production, held in Mitchell’s new Ron and Sheilah Gates Performing Arts Auditorium.
